Yggsburgh Book 2 Introduction/Timeline

M6 96 YY 
Day 24 - Sir Ulrich Hawkes' man Garrick is knighted Sir Garrick by the Lord Mayor of Yggsburgh in a ceremony held at The Citadel, Yggsburgh. 
Day 25 - Sir Ulrich writes to his friend Sir George Kallent, seeking permission for Tabitha to marry his man Sir Garrick. 
Day 30 - Permission having been received, engagement is anounced of the fair Tabitha Kallent to brave Sir Garrick. End of Summer Term at the Yggsburgh College.  

M7 96 YY
Day 2 - Tabitha is collected by her aunt Dame Gertrude to be returned to Kallent for the summer holidays. Gertrude makes little secret that she disapproves of the planned wedding.

M8 YY 96 
Day 5-6 - Norsemen from the Urt River Jarldoms under Jarl Vungard Bloodhand attempt a raid on the Westfields, but are soon driven off by Yggsburgh's brave milita including Sir Ulrich Hawkes and Sir Garrick. They do manage to carry off a few women and sack a riverside brewery, Ungoode's; several dozen drunken Vikings are left behind by the retreating longships. Beer-sodden berserkers are a common sight in the Eastmark for weeks afterward.
Day 20 - Sir Ulrich Hawkes and most of his family & retainers travel south to County Kallent for the wedding of Garrick & Tabitha, leaving Ulrich's daughter Alicia Hawkes to manage the estates.
Day 23 - Sir Ulrich Hawkes & co arrive at Castle Kallent for three weeks of festivities leading   up to the wedding.

M 9 YY 96
Day 4 - News from Yggsburgh reaches Kallent. Alicia Hawkes hired Swordsmen's Brotherhood mercenaries to kill the returned dragon Black Fang (last seen M2 96 YY) on Serpent Ridge above the Hawkes vineries; the Swordsmen end up arranging a weekly sheep tribute to Fang and his new Medusa friend, Helen.
Day 14 - News from a Kallent agent at Redfort - Lady Octavia de Redfort has been rescued from Gold Hal by the Brotherhood Swordsman Andarc and his comrades, and returned to Baron Lyle.
That evening at Castle Kallent, Ulrich Hawkes' man Sir Garrick marries Tabitha Kallent in a lavish ceremony...
